Locations

Locations are physical Metrognome facilities—the buildings where customers come to use studios. Each location has its own address, timezone, pricing rates, and Stripe account. This guide covers managing locations in the staff dashboard.

Finding Locations

Go to Staff → Locations to see all facilities.

From the list:

  1. Use the search bar to find by name or address
  2. Use filters to narrow down:
  3. Type — Metrognome, Venue, Retail, or Competitor
  4. Status — Active, Inactive, Maintenance, or Coming Soon

Click any row to open the location detail page.

Creating a Location

Go to Staff → Locations and click Add.

Required Fields

  • Name — The facility name customers will see
  • Type — Cannot be changed after creation
  • Status — Whether the location is available
  • ZIP Code — Used for address validation
  • Timezone — Critical for displaying reservation times correctly
  • Stripe Account ID — The connected Stripe account for payments

Address & Geography

Use the Search Address field to auto-fill address details. This populates:

  • Street address, city, state, ZIP
  • Timezone (automatically detected)
  • Latitude and longitude coordinates
  • Neighborhood

You can also enter these manually if needed.

Pricing Configuration

Set default rates that apply to resources at this location:

  • Monthly Rate ($/sq ft) — Base rate for monthly studio pricing
  • Hourly Rate ($/sq ft) — Base rate for hourly studio pricing
  • Peak Multiplier — Multiplier applied during peak hours (e.g., 1.5 for 50% more)

Resources can override these rates, but they inherit from the location by default.

  • Insurance Available — Whether customers can purchase insurance here
  • Insurance Mandatory — Whether insurance is required for bookings

Integrations

  • Stripe Account ID — Required for payment processing
  • Stripe Product ID — Optional product reference
  • UniFi Members Group ID — For door access control
